Applications are open for the 2026 Near-Surface Geophysics Community Input Workshop!

We are happy to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Near-Surface Geophysics Community Input Workshop, held in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 25 & 26.

This in-person workshop will bring the near-surface geophysics community together to shape future science support and collaboration. The NGS workshop is jointly organized by multiple groups involved in near-surface geophysics (NSF NGF, CTEMPs, OpenTopography, NHERI, CUAHSI, and AGU Near-Surface Geophysics Section), and sponsored by the NSF National Geophysical Facility (NSF NGF, operated by EarthScope). It will build on previous efforts to unify the community and determine priorities.
