Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite the EarthScope community to participate in the 40th General Assembly of the European Seismological Commission (ESC2026), to be held in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 6–11 September 2026.

ESC2026 will bring together the international seismology community to discuss recent advances in earthquake physics, seismic networks, hazard and risk assessment, ground motion, engineering seismology, and societal impact.

Researchers at all career stages are warmly encouraged to submit abstracts and contribute to scientific sessions and discussions.
