Dear EarthScope Community,

We are excited to announce an additional 2023 EarthScope community learning opportunity: Multi-GNSS Precise Point Positioning and PRIDE PPP-AR Short Course.

This course will be open to researchers, students, and professionals in the field of geodesy, GNSS, or related fields who have specific research or application needs for GNSS high-precision data processing, and have a basic understanding of GNSS data processing principles and a current interest in utilizing this technology.

This course provides a study of high-precision multi-GNSS precise point processing (PPP) using the latest version of the open-source software PRIDE PPP-AR. The course will cover the application of PPP in various fields such as geodesy, seismology, aerial photogrammetry, engineering surveys, and meteorology. Participants will learn the PPP fundamentals and techniques for undifferenced ambiguity resolution, as well as hands-on experience with the PRIDE PPP-AR software. The features and capabilities of PRIDE PPP-AR will be discussed and demonstrated, with a focus on setting options for high-precision results, analyzing output, and applying the software to scientific research and engineering projects. By the end of the course, participants will have a basic understanding of high-precision multi-GNSS PPP and be equipped to use PRIDE PPP-AR software effectively.
