We sincerely invite you to submit your abstracts for the AGU Fall Meeting 2024, for our session entitled "Recent Earthquakes Across the Globe: Analysis of Mainshocks, Aftershocks, and Secondary Hazards for Preparation, Rapid Response, and Recovery" (Session number: NH037). This session will explore significant recent seismic events in locations such as Kahramanmaraş, Noto, Hualien, and New Jersey.

Our objective is to facilitate a comprehensive discussion on seismic analysis, secondary hazards like tsunamis and landslides, and strategies encompassing preparedness, rapid response, recovery, and resilience. This interdisciplinary exchange is crucial for the advancement of global earthquake preparedness and recovery techniques.

We are pleased to announce Prof. Yo Fukushima from Tohoku University, Japan, as our invited speaker.

We encourage you to contribute by submitting an abstract addressing any of the aforementioned topics. This session promises to be a valuable opportunity for professionals across seismology, geology, civil engineering, and disaster management to share their expertise and insights.
