Hi all,

Increasing access to shared knowledge resources and connecting the community across disciplines is a priority of the Distributed Sensing Technical Committee (DSTC).  The Standards and Practices Subcommittee is therefore requesting your input on how we can best support these activities using an online platform, such as the example shown in this concept demo:  https://agustars.lovable.app/. This demo is meant to catalyze your ideas, so please check it out.

We are asking you to then complete this brief survey (<5min) to provide input on what would make a community platform most useful for you.  Our goal is to determine whether there is an existing platform that can meet the community's needs or if we need a more specialized tool. We hope to launch this initiative within the next month, so request you complete the survey no later than next Tuesday, April 7.

Other Reminders:
Session proposals for AGU26 in San Franciso are due April 22.  If you plan to contribute a session related to Distributed Sensing, please reach out to Nicola Falco (nicol...@lbl.gov) to add your proposal to the list of sessions that the DSTC will be promoting.  Thanks for Nicola, Haokai Zhao, and Chet Udell for co-leading the session coordination this year.

Thank you for taking the time to contribute back to the community!

Sincerely,
The AGU Distributed Sensing Technical Committee
