Limited travel assistance is available for two upcoming workshops that may be of interest to the SZ4D community. Through SZNet, international collaborations with SZ4D that focus on the Chilean margin are being supported by offering limited travel assistance for US-based scientists to participate in one or two of the Chile-based workshops organized by partner networks. Details for each workshop are included below.

| Funding
SZNet will cover the cost of round-trip airfare to the workshop location from the United States following ordinary NSF guidelines. Participants are responsible for covering all other expenses, including lodging, meals, local transportation, and other associated travel expenses. Travel support is provided through SZNet, which is funded by the National Science Foundation AccelNet program under award 2301732. |
| Information for Applicants
All US-based researchers planning to attend either or both of the workshops are eligible to apply. We welcome applications from individuals at any career stage, including current students.
To apply, applicants will need to submit the application through the travel grant application portal. This form will prompt applicants to describe their scientific contributions to the workshop(s), and how participation aligns with their research or career goals. Applications will be reviewed by an evaluation committee after the application deadline. Successful applicants will be notified by September 1.
