Dear Glacial Isostatic Adjustment (GIA) Colleagues:

 

There was a strong positive response to my informal survey about interest in a GIA-focussed listserv.

 

I am delighted to announce the creation of a listserv focussed on Glacial Isostatic Adjustment – GIA.  A whole-hearted thanks to Reyko Schachtschneider at GFZ for creating the list, and to Rebekka Steffen for reaching out to Reyko to see if this would be possible.

 

The mailing list is reached via the address:

 In order to subscribe this list, send an email to the address sy...@listserv.dfn.de with the following content in the Subject line:

 

SUBSCRIBE GIA <First Name> <Last Name>

 

We will start with not moderating listings from GIA-list members, but postings from people who are not members will be moderated.

 

Please join the list and advertise and distribute this email to your network.  The listserv will only be successful if many people join.
