Dear EarthScope Community,
We’re reaching out one last time with an exciting opportunity for your students and colleagues—but time is running out! ⏳ Applications for EarthScope internships close on February 15 at 11:59 PM (Eastern). We’d greatly appreciate your help in sharing these opportunities with anyone who might benefit.
Here’s what’s available:
🔹 Geo-Launchpad: An 11-week introductory geoscience research experience tailored specifically for community college students. (Open to community college students only.)
🔹 RESESS (Research Experiences in Solid Earth Science for Students): A 9-11 week authentic geophysical research experience for upper-level undergraduates. (Graduating seniors are eligible to apply.)
🔹 EarthScope Student Career Internship: Offers real-world work experience through a variety of positions for undergraduate and graduate students. Each position has unique requirements and applications—students should review carefully.
Eligibility Notes:
We encourage you to share this opportunity widely with students who might benefit from these enriching, funded experiences.
For more information and to apply, students can visit the EarthScope Student Internships page. If they have any questions, they can reach out to inter...@earthscope.org.
Interested in leading a project and mentoring a RESESS and/or Geo-Launchpad intern this summer? Mentor applications are open until March 1st.
Thank you for supporting students in their professional and academic journeys!
Best regards,
The EarthScope Internship Team
