Dear seismologists working on innovative approaches using Large-N arrays, Fibre-Optic arrays (e.g., DAS), or Machine-learning applications for seismic data analysis,

Please consider submitting your abstract to our EGU 2026 session:

"Advances in Seismic Data Analysis: From Acquisition and Processing to Uncertainty Assessment”

Our interdisciplinary session focuses on recent advances in seismic data analysis, driven by increasing computational capabilities and the rapid growth of seismic datasets. Emerging approaches such as Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), Large-N nodal arrays, and machine-learning-based methods are creating new opportunities for subsurface imaging, event detection, and near-real-time monitoring. These developments also introduce important challenges, particularly in managing large datasets and ensuring rigorous uncertainty quantification. For more information, check out the full session abstract.

We are also happy to announce our invited speaker Marine Denolle (University of Washington)!

EGU 2026 takes place from 3-8 May 2026, and the abstract submission deadline is January 15 2026, at 13:00 CET.

Thank you for considering submitting to our session!
