Paid internships for undergraduate students are available at Michigan State University this summer!  Prior geodesy experience is not required, but students should have some prior experience in geophysics, programming, and/or upper level math.

As part of the MSU geodesy internship program, students will:
• Participate in a geodesy bootcamp that will provide a solid foundation of geodesy background, techniques, and tools
• Work with a faculty mentor to develop and carry out a research project
• Learn about educational opportunities and career paths in geodesy through presentations by MSU and outside geodesy professionals
• Create a research poster for their project and present their results at an undergraduate research symposium
• Receive a stipend and round-trip travel to East Lansing, MI.

For more information on the internship program and how to apply, please visit the program website.

Application deadline is February 15, 2025.

Please share with any students who may be interested!
