Share with Your Students: Undergraduate Poster Opportunities at AGU & GSA Connects 2026

Do you have undergraduate students planning to present their work at the AGU Annual Meeting or GSA Connects 2026? Encourage them to submit an abstract to one of these undergraduate poster sessions!
These sessions are dedicated to showcasing undergraduate research from community colleges, four-year institutions, and research universities while creating a welcoming space for students to connect with peers from across the geoscience community. We welcome posters featuring original, ongoing, or completed research, as well as outreach and classroom-based projects.
Whether or not you have students presenting, we also encourage conference attendees to stop by these undergraduate poster sessions. For many students, this is their first professional conference presentation, and your questions, feedback, and encouragement can make a lasting impact on their confidence and professional development.

These sessions celebrate the many pathways into Earth and space science and the important contributions undergraduate researchers make to the field.
Please share these opportunities with any undergraduate students who may be interested. We would love to see students from across the geoscience community represented at both meetings.
