We want to encourage you to prepare and submit your great geophysics research ideas to the U.S. National Science Foundation’s solicitations. Now that the NSF National Geophysical Facility operations and management award is in place, we are standing by to provide support for PI research, whether you need help designing and budgeting a field deployment, accessing new cyberinfrastructure, or supporting students in their career development.
Proposal pressure is a key part of demonstrating that the Earth Science community is strong and growing. It helps us as a facility to understand the evolving needs of our community, it helps the NSF to show the breadth of the research we all do together, and it supports our evolving understanding of our dynamic planet.
You can request support here and you can see more about the scope of the NSF NGF here. You can always reach out to EarthScope Consortium staff to brainstorm ideas or get specific feedback.
Here’s to great science!
