Our registration is open for our annual meeting and slots are filling up fast! If you’ve been waiting to decide, now is the time. Join a great cohort of researchers and community partners for a dynamic 3 days of hazard science, Sept 23-25 in Boulder, CO. Register by July 31 to apply for the pre-meeting OpenTopography workshop on topographic differencing and/or travel grants - so don’t delay! Register for the meeting to apply. 

We have great programming, including:

• The latest scientific advances in understanding cascading hazards

• How to effectively communicate hazards to researchers, governmental officials, and the general public

• Emerging hazards– what we should expect in the years and decades to come

• Current modeling and forecasting discoveries

OPENTOPOGRAPHY WORKSHOP & TRAVEL SUPPORT

• Travel Grants: A select number of $600 travel awards are available to support attendance for the meeting, the OT workshop, or both. Early-career researchers are encouraged to apply.

• Workshop Registration: The pre-meeting OpenTopography workshop (9/23) is free of charge, but attendance is capped at 40 participants.

• Selection Process: Workshop participants and travel award recipients will be selected from the total application pool after the July 31 deadline and notified by Aug 8.
