Optical Seismology and the Next Era in Seismic Sensing

Kona, Hawaii

Co-organized by the Australian Research Council's Centre of Excellence in Optical Microcombs for Breakthrough Science (COMBS) and SSA, this topical conference explores emerging research in the field of seismic sensing techniques. Topics will include but are not limited to optical frequency combs, optical interferometry, Fiber Bragg grating, optical polarimeters for rotational sensing, trends in miniaturization, 3D DAS, low-cost nodal instrumentation, rotational seismic sensing, high-rate GNSS, quantum gravimeters and citizen science sensors. 

The meeting will also include a related workshop at Keck Observatory on DAS analysis and a demonstration of optical frequency microcombs.
