## Sorry for cross-posting ! ##
Dear community,
I wanted to draw your attention to our new AGU session on "Quantum Gravimetry and other Quantum-based Sensors for Terrestrial and Space Observations and Applications".
We would like to invite and encourage all people who are working on related subjects, instrumental developments, scientific analysis, mission or project planning with this topical focus or any related activity to contribute to this session. It would be an honor!
Here is the link for the abstract submission, including further details on the session:

Deadline is 31. July 2024 !

Session description:
Recent developments in different fields have enabled new applications and concepts in the space- and ground-based observation of the Earth’s gravity field. Quantum sensors are of increasingly interest and considered for future gravity space missions as well as included in new sensor types for terrestrial monitoring concepts. This session focuses on new sensor types and techniques related to quantum technology, including but not limited to, quantum gravimeters and gradiometers (both for space and
ground), optical clock networks and advances in laser interferometry for space applications.
We invite presentations illustrating the state of the art of those novel techniques, ongoing instrumental development and advances, general quantum-mission concepts as well as their foreseen geodetic applications.
This session is organized jointly with the IAG project "Novel Sensors and Quantum Technology for Geodesy (QuGe)".

Please feel free to forward this announcement to anyone who you think
would fit to this topic.
Best regards,
Marvin Reich (GFZ)
and co-conveners Nan Yu (JPL) and Ashton Flinders (USGS)
