This month EarthScope is highlighting the 20 year anniversary of a historical earthquake event, the 2004 magnitude 9.1 Sumatra earthquake. This significant event offers an opportunity to explore the importance of geoscience education and geophysical impacts with your students.

We encourage you to explore and further curate the provided slides to best fit your teaching goals and classroom needs. The flexibility of our new design allows you to adapt the materials to align with your educational objectives and NGSS standards if you are within the US.
