Retirement of EarthScope’s On-Premises Seismic Archiving System What you need to know   Inbound connections to Seattle servers (iris.washington.edu) are being shut down on August 11, 2026 at 9 AM MT. If you deliver data via Seedlink, Antelope, Earthworm, FTP, or by other means to Buddy (128.95.166.5), USRA (128.95.166.10), or Ringsub (128.95.166.143), you must migrate before this date to avoid interruption. Firewall permissions: please feel free to remove any outbound firewall rules that allow delivery to these Seattle on-premises servers at the IP addresses listed above.  BUD Monitor replacement: the legacy BUD Monitor is being replaced by the new Seismic Stream Monitor, available now at status.earthscope.org.   This is one of the final steps in a multi-year effort to move EarthScope's seismic data archiving — nearly 40 years' worth, hosted at the University of Washington — into the AWS cloud. We know recent changes have come in quick succession, and we appreciate your patience as we complete this transition. We understand these changes will require adaptation, and we're committed to working with our community through this migration.
