Fibre optic session SM3.4 @ EGU 2026

Dear all,

Happy New Year! The EGU General Assembly will be held on the 3rd to 8th May 2026. 

We are happy to organise a multidisciplinary session SM3.4 Fibre-optic sensing in the geosciences. This is a broad session where we aim to cover applications and advancements in the use of fibre optic technology across all solid earth fields. Presentations on all fibre optic based technology are welcome. We are pleased to announce two invited speakers for the session: Andreas Fichtner  (ETH Zurich, Switzerland) and Max Tamussino (NPL, UK).
