Dear Participants,
We hope you are getting excited for the EGU Galileo Conference “Shaking Boundaries: Environmental Seismology Across Disciplines” in Kiel! We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone from the 9th to the 11th of June.
Don't forget: We will kick things off with an evening reception at 18:00 on the 8th!
To help you prepare, please find two important documents attached to this email:
1. EnvSeis_Book_of_Abstracts_and_Schedule.pdf This document contains the final conference schedule, as well as all abstracts for both posters and talks. Please take a moment to look through it to ensure your details are correct. If you spot any errors,
please contact us as soon as possible.
2. Venue_Navigation.pdf We have created a three-page guide to help you find your way around the GEOMAR campus:

Administrative Reminders:
Field Trip: Wednesday Afternoon Hike For those joining our optional excursion: we will enjoy a walk along the Heikendorf beach (approx. 5 km), including a visit to the little mermaid of Möltendorf and the U-Boot memorial.
-
Logistics: We will take bus 14 from Kiel Seefischmarkt at 12:27 to Heikendorf. Please ensure you purchase your own bus tickets (3.60€ for a one-way trip) and pack picnic lunches
before the sessions start on Tuesday morning, as time will be limited on Wednesday.
-
Route: You can view the walk details here:

-
Reminder: The terrain includes some unpaved sections, so please bring shoes that can get dirty!
We are genuinely excited to meet everyone soon for what promises to be a fantastic few days of science and discussion. Safe travels and see you in Kiel!
