The Géoazur DAS team seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to advance Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) for ocean applications. This position focuses on leveraging new fiber-optic sensing datasets to address core challenges in DAS calibration, frequency response, and instrumentation benchmarking within marine research. The research team applies DAS technology across various oceanography, hydroacoustics, and marine conservation studies.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Oceanography, Geophysics, Applied Physics, or a related field. Experience in DAS or acoustic data analysis is preferred. We welcome candidates with innovative DAS ideas and are open to supporting creative research directions with potential for additional funding.
