Fiber optic cable deployment in coastal waters

Dear All,

We're planning to deploy fiber-optic cable at water-bottom in coastal waters, the cable will be used as seismic receivers with DAS. The water depth varies from 0 to 20 meters. As far as we know generally in deep water enviorment cable ship is adopted to use High Pressure Flushing to form a trench and insert the telecom cable into it. 

My quesition is: Is there any alternative way to deploy cable in shallow water enviorment to reduce the cost ?
