Hello,

How can I tell if an early college class is also a VLAC's class?  Is there a different registration process for that other than the dual enrollment site?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jen

Hi Jen,

Many of them are.  From my impression:  The student must register via Early College Online and NOT VLACs.  They use vlac for many of the platforms.  Is there a list per say I don't think so.  But a student will not get the credit if they register via VLAC.  Shawna will be your best resource on this.

Hi Jen,
It should say something like UNH Early College credit or SNHU Dual credit on the VLACS site.

In my experience, the VLACS transcript will indicate dual enrollment in the course name.

Thank you everyone.  I guess I have two more questions then...

1. Are the VLAC's/Dual enrollment only offered through UNH and SNHU?  Because the student registered for an online through NHTI thinking it was also VLAC.

2. Will it show up on the students VLAC course load after they sign up?

Thanks again for helping me navigate this!

Hi Everyone-

These answers seem to provide partial information, and some of it might be confusing.

I encourage you to use the chat function on the VLAC homepage. If "Skylar" the bot can't answer it, you are connected with an actual person and they are very helpful. Otherwise, a phone call to VLAC's directly (just not around lunch time;) ) tends to connect you immediately with a person and they are also very helpful.

Best,
Christian

I can’t comment about VLACS but my high school meteorology class at Coe-Brown is offered dual-enrollment through NHTI
