Hello,

We are currently working on a 3D printer which uses the mentioned extruder.
We connected the Grounds (7 wires) to earth reference (grounded metal chassis) as shown on the following image:

After we start heating any of the heating elements the 30 mA RCD activates.

We disconnected the Grounds (7 wires) bundle from earth reference, and measured the voltage between that, and the metal chassis (to which the extruder is attached) and measured 10 to 50 VAC, most likely this is whats causing the tripping.

Could you clarify where to connect the Grounds wires? What internal connections are made in the extruder, and what are the Grounds used for? What is its purpose from an engineering standpoint?

There are no shorts, or other connections between PE and any of the other elements (sensors, heaters, etc.), we checked and measured.

Are there any dedicated circuitry, that would not tolerate switching the L and N wires of the heating elements?

Thank you in advance!

Regards,
Balazs

Also, could you provide a list of certifications? What standards does this product apply to? Does it conform with CE?
