Using a Dyze Extruder/Hotend Pro w/ 500c thermistor. Wondering what a typical M307 setting looks like? Here is mine after a running M303 Heater Calibration a few times.

M307 H2 B0 R2.018 C302.1:288.9 D11.79 S1.00 V23.8

The problem i am having is that i have a suspicion that my temperature readings are not very accurate. Also when seeing and or changing temps the temp always reaches the set temp and then goes past at min 10c and then takes a few minutes to get back down to the set temp. It does this swinging above and below the set temperatures until finally it settles on the desired temperature...not my experience at all on Marlin FW or with a V6...below are my M308 settings

M308 S1 P"1.temp0" Y"thermistor" A"T0_heater" R4700 T4606017 B5848 C5.548428-8 H0 L0

Some guidance/input would be greatly appreciated.

M307 H0 B0 S1.00                                             ; disable bang-bang mode for the chamber heater and set PWM limit
M308 S1 P"spi.cs1" Y"rtd-max31865"             ; create sensor number 1 as a PT100 sensor in the first position on the Duet 2 daughter board connector

M950 H1 C"e0heat" T1                                                  ; create nozzle heater output on e0heat and map it to sensor 1
M307 H1 B0 S1.00                                                         ; disable bang-bang mode for heater  and set PWM limit
M307 H1 A1169.7 C368.3 D8.5 S0.8 V24.0 B0        ;PWM settings for Hotend - Max PWM of 0.8

This is on a duet 2 wifi. Can't say it is 100% correct but worked enough for me using the high output heater. Still causes some overshoot on first switch on, but settles quickly and remains stable

Thanks for the reply...Unfortunately the M307 commands in RRFW3.3 and RRFW2 uses different configurations..... I wonder if having the PWM max set at S0.8 is it. I will attempt thank you

Also strange, im printing TPU and i was cooking the filament at 220c...finally started getting good prints at 185c....makes me thing the Thermistor is bad or not accurately calibrated/setup under M308

Hi Kenneth,

If you see fumes, it's probably moisture absorbed by the TPU. We need to dry the filament here before printing, and the oozing gets crazy and we can see a lot of vapor.
