I have new 300℃ thermistor that i bought in February. I installed it a few days ago, and it shows -19deg at room temperature. When I heat the hotend the temperature rises. If I set the hotend to 200℃ it show 200℃ on the display, but reads with an infrared reads about 130℃.
When I test the resistance if the thermistor it shows 4.20M ohms. When I test different 100K ohm resistors they read 106k ohms.

This is being run by Marlin 2.1.2.4, on a Bigtreetech SKR V1.4 (Turbo).
This is not letting me print.
Any help on this would be great.

Also what size thread and pitch is the Dyze thermistor?

It's not Marlyn's problem! It's a problem of thermistor failure! The 300-degree thermistor should measure 100k omns. I also had problems with the 300-degree thermistor. It arrived defective like the one that came to you. Dize design I think I would have to do quality control on the thermistors before sending them! After that nothing to say about the products of dize design

you probably received a 500c thermistor.

check the thermistor table chart here.

20 celcius   resistance 5200K
25 celcius  resistance 4500K
