Hi everyone,

I’m currently fine-tuning the PID settings for my Pulsar Pellet Extruder, but I feel there’s still room for improvement, especially with the nozzle and bottom heaters. I’m experiencing occasional overshoot and longer stabilization times.

I’d like to ask:

  1. What PID settings are you using for the nozzle, top, and bottom heaters?
  2. What methods or tools did you use to tune these settings (e.g., Ziegler-Nichols, manual adjustments, etc.)?

Here are my current PID settings:

  • Nozzle: Kp=23, Ki=0.05, Kd=150.0
  • Top: Kp=20, Ki=0.04, Kd=170.0
  • Bottom: Kp=18, Ki=0.04, Kd=170.0

I’d greatly appreciate it if you could share your experiences and insights!

Thanks in advance for your help.
