Sorry if this is redundant or obvious but i have been searching for documentation that specifies the purpose/use of the Xtruder pro Thumb Screw located just in front of the Lever? Is this some sort of tension adjustment on the pulling power of the XtruderPro?

Hi Kenneth,

The thumb screw is used to secure and release the hotend for quick and easy swaps.
The screw from under is for the initial adjustments once you have your hotend. After this first adjustment, the thumb screw (easily accessible) from the top is used to remove and install the hotend.
You can check the video "Toolless HotEnd Removal" here: https://dyzedesign.com/dyzextruder-pro/
You can check the videos here that show how to use them: https://docs.dyzedesign.com/extruders.html#install-a-hotend
