HDBS Newsletter: Temple opens 5 pm Tuesday 1/27 after severe cold weather

Dear Durga Bari Patrons, As you are aware, the Greater Houston area and parts of the Gulf Coast are continuing to expect a strong Arctic cold front with freezing temperatures tomorrow until 11 am CST.  Due to this cold weather, the Durga Bari Temple will continue to remain closed to visitors during the first half tomorrow, January 27, 2026 evening. Regular Temple operations will resume at 5 pm on Tuesday January 27, 2026. The temple will remain open for an hour and close at 6 pm on Tuesday January 27, 2026.
