Dear Community Members, Houston Durga Bari Society has always been a place of devotion, prayer, cultural growth, service, and community involvement. Our strength comes from bringing people together, regardless of background, personal beliefs, or viewpoints. We would like to gently reaffirm that HDBS, being a religious nonprofit organization, does not have affiliation with any political party, candidate, or political group. As an institution, HDBS remains neutral and non-partisan . Our mission continues to be "To serve the Hindu community by promoting religious, cultural, educational, social and charitable activities, which includes interfaith understanding" as clearly stated in our Mission statement. We deeply value the trust our members place in HDBS, and we want to ensure that our temple and community spaces remain welcoming, respectful, and inclusive of everyone. We kindly request all HDBS attendees, devotees and well-wishers to respect our Mission and refrain from associating Houston Durga Bari Society, its name, premises, events, or communications with any political activity or political affiliation or partisan beliefs or any appearance of such sentiments .
