Memoriam: Mrs. Debosmita Dey (Majumdar)

8, 1985 - September 23, 2023)
It is with great sadness that we announce that Mrs. Debosmita Dey (Majumdar) passed away surrounded by her family on September 23, 2023. As many of you are aware, Debosmita was fighting cancer for more than 5 years, but she has always been very strong and resilient and fighting this deadly disease along with her husband and family.
Debosimta was born in Silchar, Assam, Bharat on June 8, 1985 to Bhaskar Dey and Supti Dey. She was the eldest child with one younger brother. She was a gold medalist in law from Bangalore and worked in an MNC. After marriage she chose to support her family and continued to thrive the relationship as a homemaker along with several volunteering activities including social and school fundraising.
She was a very loving and caring person. Debosmita was very creative and enjoyed painting, dancing and traveling and had a great taste for fashion. She also loved spending time volunteering in Durga Bari and cherished her time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Debosmita Dey is survived by her husband, Mr. Arijeet Majumdar and son, Riyyan Majumdar.
A visitation and cremation service will be held at the Winford Funerals Northwest (8588 Breen Road, Houston, TX 77478) on September 27, 2023 starting at 12:00 noon to say goodbye and pay last respects to her.
