In Memoriam: Mrs. Polly Tarafdar ( Dec 9. 1947 to Jun 28 2023)


 It is with great sadness that we announce that Mrs. Polly Tarafdar passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 28, 2023.    Mrs. Polly Tarafdar was born in Jharia, Bihar, India on December 9, 1947 to Gokul Chandra Majumder and Biva Rani.   She was the eldest of three sisters and five brothers.   She enjoyed singing and playing the piano.  She also loved spending time volunteering in the Durga Bari  and cherished her time with her family and friends. 

Mrs. Polly Tarafdar is survived by her husband, Mr. Barun Tarafdar, daughters, Ms. Sutandra Tarafdar and Dr. Sunetra T. Martinez and grandson, Austin Martinez.   

A visitation and service will be held at the Sugar Land Mortuary (1818 Eldridge Road, Sugar Land, Texas 77478) on June 30th starting at 10:30am to celebrate Mrs. Polly Tarafdar’s wonderful life.
