Teachers & Artists,

Today and tomorrow we're super busy sending out emailers and facebookings to get people involved in our school. We've gotten amazing response, including three new, very qualified arts teachers, some sustaining supporters, and a handful of new volunteers.

As a community school, this is extremely important. That's why I'm asking for your help.

You can take a few minutes today and make a big difference. Here's how.
  1. If you haven't already, create your DPAU email address at my.dpau.org
  2. This will automatically create your "DPAU Profile" (for example, if your email address is wal...@dpau.org your DPAU Profile is dpau.org/walker)
  3. Drop a line to your friends, family, and anyone you think may be able to help, encouraging them to become a Community Partner by visiting your DPAU Profile.
  4. Post your DPAU Profile to your FB page.
  5. Log back into my.dpau.org to see all the people you've raised!
That's right, we're people raising. Everyone who adds their name to your personal page by this Friday gets their name on the school as a founding Community Partner. Every dollar your Profile brings in goes toward your rewards, including free membership dues for Co-Op members

Your Community Partners can contribute a few hours of volunteering, a few bucks in donations, or simply a good idea or something that can help out our school.

We really need the support to hit our goal this Friday. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'll keep us all updated on the overall progress. Right now, we're still 30-35 new partners away from meeting our goal, with overwhelming momentum.

Thank you for all that you do,
Sean

Art is a foundation of our community; we are dedicated to protecting every student's rights to free arts education, uncensored self-expression, and active community engagement. For example, we have a free visual art school for teens in downtown Denver where after-school and Saturday classes are taught by ten volunteer teachers to 15-25 students per ten week class, culminating with a student show/gala at the end of each semester. Each school is seeking students, teachers, and donors who live in the area, ensuring the school stays open forever. Learn more or donate.
