Denver Public University has officially obtained a new building right in the heart of the Santa Fe Arts District in Denver, Colorado. We now have the opportunity to provide free art education to our youth in the Greater Denver area in a much more effective and preserving way. We strive to make a direct impact on the future now and for years to come.
We have had some minor hiccups and after some negotiation, our landlord has afforded us a reasonable 5 year lease so we can achieve our mission to open a free school for the Arts for our youth. As our summer drive continues, people like you have been important in ensuring DPAU receives materials & supplies for students and proper renovations to the building. We would not have gotten this far without concerned neighbors who have donated money, items, supplies and their valuable time and services. All this without State or Federal funds in which help us avoid budget cuts and closures.
Our goal date to complete these projects is August 19th, 2011. It is vital to our students, faculty and the DPAU community and our neighborhoods that these renovations be completed on time.
You can help us achieve these goals and meet our current deadlines by giving an amount that is meaningful to you.We have faith in your commitment to help fill the gap in our Educational system that our too often fledgling school districts have left behind.
Here at DPAU we don’t feel educating our youth is a challenge, but an obligation handed down through generations. We are dedicated to continuing the spirit of community that brought us many advancements in civilization and has weathered thousands of years. With your direct involvement in your community, you can keep our children on track to bring us many more achievements far into the future.
