CALL FOR PAPERS
The workshop "AI and Computer-powered Creativity" is an event in the 1st World Congress
of the Brazilian Academy of Philosophy in Honor of Newton da Costa 90th Birthday
(CREATIVITY'2019,
https://sites.google.com/view/creativity2019) which takes place on
8-13 December 2019 in Rio de Janeiro.
All workshop participants are invited to attend other events in the congress as well.
In this workshop we are interested in exploring the ways in which the synergy
human-machine can indeed push us to think "outside the box".
In particular, we want to explore the use of artificial intelligence to create
innovative designs in engineering, architecture, art and music, among others.
We invite all kinds of professionals, from scientists and engineers
to musicians and artists, to share with us their experiences on how the synergic
interaction with computers has led them to creative insights.
We particularly encourage participation of all those engaged in the scientific research
of creativity and serendipity in relation to computer technologies, as well as scientists
and artists who harness the power of modern computers as creative driving forces.
