Subject: Undergraduate Summer Internships 2021.
Dear colleagues,
although the situation around COVID-19 remains uncertain, I would like to draw your attention to the
Globalink Research Internship (GRI) offered through MITACS in Canada.
Students from Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, India, Mexico, Tunisia, United Kingdom, USA, and Ukraine will be able to view all approved projects
and apply to those that match their interests and skills. From May to October of each year, top-ranked applicants can participate in a 12-week funded research internship under the supervision of Canadian university faculty members in a variety of academic
disciplines, from science, engineering and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences.
I have submitted a project that focuses on automating proofs within the Beluga proof environment, but there is a wide variety of projects available. This is particularly
interesting for any students who might consider a graduate degree program at a Canadian University, as there is a possibility to apply for follow up fellowships/awards.
Please forward to anyone interested.
- Brigitte
