Na minha palestra apresentei em particular o paradoxo  identity/difference seguinte

(1) X wants to promote his/her own identity 

(2) Therefore X is  different

(3) However X wants to  be treated equally 

Também insistiu sobre o fato que

respect =/= support 

Não é porque  por exemplo respeitamos os gordos que devemos  estar a favor da gordura

(um assunto sensivel  no Estados Unidos onde obesidade infantil se tornou uma prioridade nacional)

Acredito que a logica com arte de pensar,  raciocinar e agir

pode ter um papel fundamental na evolucao da sociedade e da politica

A logica paraconsistante turbo polar 478 pode ser usada por exemplo para resolver a seguinte contradicao  da legislacao americana que me foi assinalada recetemente pelo International Center Scholars da UCSD (University of California, San Diego):

PASSAGE OF PROPOSITION 64, THE “CALIFORNIA MARIJUANA LEGALIZATION INITIATIVE”

 California voters recently passed Proposition 64, the “California Marijuana Legalization Initiative,”

 which, under state law, makes it legal for individuals to use and grow marijuana effective Nov 9th.  

 Using and possessing marijuana under Federal law, however, is STILL ILLEGAL.  Additionally, the University of California prohibits the use, possession, and sale of marijuana, in any form, on all property.

 It is important to understand that federal law takes precedence over state law, and any infractions that come to the attention of federal agencies may jeopardize current or future immigration benefits.
