Title of the paper: Relative contradictoriness

Abstract: Our thesis about contradictoriness is a threefold one: it is a relative, theory-dependent  concept; it is a synonym of absurdity, which is a constant of falsity; it is to be used as a definiens of sentential negation and truth-values, contrary to its usual presentation. First of all, we review both the motivation of such a thesis and its philosophical consequences about the nature of negation and truth-values. Then we propose a formal background encompassing the relativity of contradictoriness into a set of increasingly complex question-answer games, explicating the variety of its formulations by a variety of available answers that make sense of truth-values.

We have here a joint paper. The rule for joint papers is that the first author has to currently live and work in the country where the paper is submitted for the prize. 

The project A PRIZE OF LOGIC IN EVERY COUNTRY! is in favor of international collaboration.

And it is good to see here the victory of the collaboration between France and Brazil.

The organizer of this 3rd edition of the Louis Couturat Prize was Ivan Varzinczak. Dziękuję bardzo Ivan!

Ivan was not only the winner of the 1st edition of the Louis Couturat Prize but also of the 1st First World Logic Prizes Contest, which took place June 24, 2018, during the 6th UNILOG in Vichy, France, with an international jury of 7 members, Göran Sundholm being the president:

Muito obrigado pelos cumprimentos para Evandro e para mim. Estou orgulhoso desse prêmio, depois da minha estadia inesquecível no Brasil (Maringá e Goiânia) onde aquele trabalho nasceu e foi desenvolvido até hoje.
