Abriu um concurso com 01 vaga para o Departamento de Matemática da UFBA (01 vaga), detalhes no arquivo a seguir:

Doutorados em Filosofia com tese em Lógica são aceitos (ver página 19 do arquivo).

"Porém", esse é um concurso aberto ("Matemática Geral"), então os pontos são de nível de Mestrado em Matemática (ver página 26 do arquivo).

Com algumas horas de estudo, alguém que fez graduação em Matemática e pós-graduação toda em Filosofia/Lógica poderá fazer este concurso !

Lembrando que temos um grupo ativo e já relativamente grande aqui em Salvador, que deve já ser o terceiro ou quarto melhor lugar para

fazer Lógica Matemática no país. 8-)

Favor divulgar entre os interessados (incluindo os estrangeiros, mas aí por favor os coloquem em contato comigo para instruções sobre

a infame burocracia brasileira).

PS: Claro que com algumas horas a mais de estudo, até quem fez tudo em Filosofia pode fazer este concurso. O título de doutorado em filosofia é aceito.

TENURED TRACK POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS, UFBA, SALVADOR, BAHIA, BRAZIL

The Department of Mathematics of the Federal University of Bahia (Salvador, Bahia, Brazil) has just opened a call for fulfilling permanent positions (equivalents to tenure track assistant professor positions), including opportunities in the area of Mathematical Logic.

In particular, candidates with a PhD in Philosophy (with research on Logic) are able to apply for this call.

The candidate must speak Portuguese, at least in a minimum level. The deadline for application is May 15, 2018. Examinations will take place in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, probably in July or August 2018.
