Title: "What is money?"
Abstract:  We discuss the issue of money in the perspective of the Socratic-Platonic question “What is X?”, using different methodologies, such as definition, quotations, the pyramid of meaning, word cloud, the theory of opposition. Then we examine the notion of business, the case of Switzerland, the relation between money and art. In the last part we place money among eight other characteristics of human beings.

This paper is related to the "1st World Congress on Logic, Chance and Money" that was organized in Las Vegas, November 16-19, 2024
and to the forthcoming event that will take place in Rio de Janeiro, July 27-31, 2026
