Newton da Costa died this year 2024 at the age of 94.
We organized an event dedicated to him, Dec 9-13, in Rio de Janeiro:
Imagination, Creativity, Intelligence: ici-Rio 2024

Dec 4-14, 2025, in Cusco, Peru, there will be the
8th World Congress and School on Universal Logic
This 8th UNILOG will include the 3rd World Logic Prizes Contest
a contest with winners of a series of Logic Prizes by country
based on the Newton da Costa Logic Prize for Brazil that I created in 2014, see details here.
