Association of African Universities, the
University of Nottingham and The Ethical Data Initiative [EDI]), a webinar is organized on ‘Building
Resilient Education Systems through Responsible Research and Innovation’. This webinar is developed in support of the African Union’s designation of 2024 as the ‘Year of Education’,
under the theme under the theme ‘Educate and Skill African for the 21st Century’, with the support of
UNICEF. This webinar will explore how ethical data and research practices can enhance access to inclusive, lifelong, and quality learning across Africa. It looks at strategies for responsible research governance to address the educational challenges posed
by digitization and the potential for capacity development.
