Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the webinar on ‘Research Assessment in the Digital Environment’ that will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 26 February 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon UTC. This is the first in ‘The Research Assessment for Ethics, Data and AI Discussion Series.
This discussion is organized by the University of Exeter and Technical University of Munich’s Ethical Data Initiative (EDI) in collaboration with CoARA ERIP: Ethics and Research Integrity Policy for Responsible Research Assessment in Data and Artificial Intelligence Working Group, the International Science Council’s CODATA IDPC, and the EOSC-Future-RDA Artificial Intelligence and Data Visitation Working Group (AIDV).
The series provides a platform for critical discussions on rethinking research assessment in the digital age. Through this collaboration, leading experts, scholars, and practitioners will explore how ethical frameworks, data policies, and AI governance can enhance research assessment practices in science and higher education. The discussions aim to empower stakeholders (scientists, researchers, educators, higher education institutions, publishers, funders) with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate evolving challenges while advancing ethics and research integrity in this increasingly complex field of research evaluation.
