Resolution Committee,

Despite being in DA for 7 years, I have managed to keep my distance from Resolutions and Charter Amendments.  Not so this go round.   Don't know if this is the right place to ask this but I will go ahead and maybe you can tell me if this is the place.

I am strongly in favour of both resolutions 22 and 23 and I believe that these resolutions should be listed as mission critical as they directly affect DA's GOTV work.  And in my view,  GOTV work is the reason why this org exists at all.  Can that designation be changed for the town hall tomorrow?

Do these designations continue on for the Global Meeting or only for the short term?  If they do, then I want to press even stronger that these two resolutions have a priority place in our discussions with the whole DPCA body as they ARE mission critical since our primary mission IS GOTV.

Thank you for your attention to this request.

I don't know if it's possible to vote up or down using this format, but I would like to give Randi's suggestion a big thumbs up.
Thanks

Hello,

I will interject here to share the same statement I made at Town Hall #4. The final report with the order of consideration at the AGM has not been determined. We will discuss as a committee the final order and take all feedback, both committee and participant over the last week, under consideration. We do appreciate hearing from all members and their feedback.

Thank you for your participation.

Warm regards,

Keith Brannum

Keith,

I appreciate your comment that the Resolutions Committee has not yet addressed the order in which resolutions will be recommended for consideration.  However, there have been comments that resolutions will broadly be classified in two groups, mission critical and non-mission critical.  I would respectfully ask the committee to place R22 and R23 in the "mission critical" category, as these specifically address ways in which DA operates.
