Regular Submissions:
We welcome original research contributions that advance the theory and practice of IR, including:
Research papers: Theoretical or empirical studies
Resource papers: Datasets, tools, and benchmarks
Reproducibility papers: Re-implementations or re-evaluations of prior work
Industry papers: Practical IR deployments and real-world challenges
Perspective papers: Critical analyses or novel visions
SIGIR-R&R Submissions:
A special track for revised and resubmitted papers that were not accepted at SIGIR 2025, with an author response document explaining changes made in response to SIGIR reviews.
Length: 2 to 9 pages (excluding references), commensurate with contribution
Format: ACM sigconf format, double-anonymized

All accepted papers will be published in the ACM Digital Library. At least one author must register and present the work (in-person or online).
