Hi,

In the Polymer FAQ, there's a section on what browsers are supported.

There's no timestamp on when this was written. So I'm curious if anyone can provide the version numbers of the browsers supported? Specifically for FF and Chrome. Also, the FAQ mentions Safari 6. We're up to Safari 8 now. Has polymer been tested on Safari 7, 8?

Thanks,
Matt

yes, it's been tested on Safari 7/8
browser compatibility is driven primarily by Web Components polyfills: https://github.com/webcomponents/webcomponentsjs

In general webcomponents.js doesn't support old versions of auto-updating browsers (Dart doesn't either: https://www.dartlang.org/support/faq.html#browsers-and-compiling-to-javascript). We do take patches on webcomponentsjs project for older browser support, but it's not actively tested. There have been several patches to get IE9 to work, for example.
