Slow performance of react-dart due to dart:js

Hi there,

we  are having troubles with performance of react-dart library, see more: https://github.com/cleandart/react-dart/issues/49

It seems to be issue with dart:js. I do not have deep understanding of dart:js and it would be great if someone from dart:js team could take a look at the issue.

I would be grateful for your help and ideas!
