Release of Dart 2 prerelease build

Greetings all, I noticed the remaining issue in Dart2Prerelease1 milestone was moved to Dart2Stable milestone and the prerelease milestone was closed.

I'm glad the issue wasn't moved to Dart 2.1 milestone as I don't think that would be in the best interest of the community or the project.

But I want to ask if there will still be a "pre-release" build or if the dev builds will fill that role?

Thanks...but that's about the Flutter pre-release build. I am talking about any pre-release build for Dart 2.

Hi John, yes for the Dart core/platform SDK, the Dart 2 preview releases are shipped on the dev channel, where we push new pre-release builds on a very regular basis:

Okay, so why was there a milestone named Dart2Prerelease1 when none of the previous Dart 2 dev channel releases had a milestone?

It seemed to me the plan was to release a "stable" beta release before the 2.0.0 stable release.
