A new Dart Dev channel build is available at: 


Friendly reminder: Dart has adopted a channel-based release strategy. This notice is for the Dev channel. To check what channel you are on, open Dart Editor and choose About from the menu.

SDK changes include:


  • dart:io (these are all the changes since 1.0)

    • Features:

      • Large file support

      • Added file copy API

      • Added process signal watching API

      • Added access stdout terminal information

      • Added UDP support

    • Performance:

      • New optimized timer-queue

      • Optimized HTTP stack

      • Decreased latency for many IO operations.

      • Faster microtask queue (improved async performance)


Editor changes include:


  • Fix for hitting breakpoints when debugging an application served from a 3rd party server.

  • Fix for showing source code when debugging through dart: library source.
