pub dev server and reverse proxy

Is it possible to edit pub dev server by "pub serve"? I want to add reverse proxy function just like grunt-connect-proxy.

Or perhaps I should set up Nginx or Apache for the reverse proxy?

No, sorry. Pub serve isn't extensible that way, and we don't plan it to be.

Yes, this is what we have in mind. We expect users to have their server proxy requests to pub serve, and not vice versa.
