state of Spark

The last time I heard of Spark was in february-march and there was talk of an appearance of Spark at Google IO. What's up? 

I feel some important contributions, like minor (on the fly) syntax derivations depend on this project (e.g.: CoffeeDart).

I guess there was a rename that I missed. So it was at Google IO. Thanks.
